Another quick update.

My 6th New Year with me spending time without my family.

Just want to leave a quick update

Quick coz it's 11 in the night and this keyboard sucks balls.

I'm in a pathetic mood.. This isn't exactly a "vacation"

Nobody has been listening to me

Mum has lost all respect for me as I've already vice-versa'ed.

Dad thinks I'm a psychotic fool.

My brother is making everybody laugh and happy. Which is a good thing... But it's something which I do =\

My leg was soo bloody cramped through the 6 hour drive.. I had to hold in my piss for 3 hours. My only source of entertainment was my phone and the 354 songs on it.. Which Dad did not allow even one to be on the Pen-drive for the journey with the other songs.. Apparently my songs are too "loud" and remind him of traffic jams and his boss complaining =\ =\

You know.. I do finally believe one thing of Dad.

And that is the "bad period" .. I'm sure I've told you of my Dad's friend who is a .. well, astrologer of some sort. He's very accurate though and he's been wrong on rare occasions. He told me that I'd have a "bad period" of my life from.. October-ish to .. I think.. January end.. Which is turning out to be true.. I mean, can you try and imagine life when everything from the smallest thing just doesn't happen to be in your favor and every thing seems to be against you...? Can you imagine what's that life is like... And that too for 3-4 months on the go..??

I love all you guys a lot.

You have seriously no idea how socially bored I'm getting over here..

On the plus side, I'm sleeping in the room with the PC which has a speed of 1.5 MBPS

So I'm MAH updating this frikkin' blog after I got COMPLAINTS (ahhem).

Other than this, I really don't have anything else.. Mom's also sick now and Dad's on the verge of it (happens every time) but bhai is A OK ! (EVERY TIME !) How is it that whenever he comes over, first I get sick .. Then Mum gets sick.. And then Dad gets sick..!! And then bhai goes away..! And we're all better after 3 days !!!
LOl What !?

I want to talk about 3 very different but related things. They are controversial but I don't really give a crap :P

1) Stick To Your Frikkin' Religion..!!

Over here, I shall proceed to write some bakwaas over how us INDIANS should stick to celebrating our own festivals and NOT getting all hyped up ans carried away by CHRISTIAN festivals. I mean, I have nothing against the Americans or whoever else ACTUALLY celebrates this because it comes under their religion and I have respect for Christmas, but Indians who are foolishly out on the streets celebrating Christmas as if it was their own, I mean really, GET A FRIKKIN' LIFE !! We already have a gazillion festivals in India which aren't celebrated elsewhere and vice-versa.. So why the hell do we celebrate these and not the other ones ?? Why aren't Hindu children as excited about getting baptized or getting a circumcision ??? Obviously they won't because it's not in their RELIGION to do so.

And so is Christmas.

STICK TO YOUR OWN FRIKKIN' FESTIVALS & RELIGION !
Period.

2) Weird Dreams...

Yes yes.. I know I can't exactly remember my own dreams.. But these past few days when I was down, all I could really do was try to get some sleep. And not the normal sleep.. The "Oh man.. I'm sick in bed and just closing my eyes" sleep. For some reason, I would think about something and it would keep playing on in my head because I would never fall asleep. So one of them was that I was holding this one girl's hand and... I don't remember why... there was an accident and.. and.. for some reason I knew her from somewhere.. I couldn't look at my own self coz I was thinking of all this from my own perspective.. Not exactly "thinking" but.. my imagination was wandering. Anyway, I never saw her face.. She was slightly shorter than me, black shoulder length hair.. That's .. about it.. Soo.. I don't know why I was holding her hand.. Or .. why I was there.. The last time I had a weird ass dream like this, it was true. NO, it wasn't about holding some girl's hand..!! I had randomly woken up in the middle of the night.. this was around 2 years ago.. Oh wait, sorry.. It was .. No wait.. It was Dec. 2008.. IDK.. Anyway, I had randomly woken up coz I thought I heard the bill ring. Weird coz it was past 1 in the night.. Soo, I went to the door and peeked outside and... it kinda blurred after that but I got a "happy feeling" when I woke up.. The truth behind it was that 2 days later my brother had come for the first time ever since he went to California. This was his surprise visit. He had come somewhere around 12 and had actually rung our bell.. The only difference was that I wasn't sleeping (GAMING !! =P )

3) Personal Issues =\

I'm fully aware of the fact that I do have a LOT of personal issues.. Some ranging from weird to bizarre. But .. life moves on and so am I.

So we went to the most farjiest ( thieved ) place in NOIDA to have dinner.

That place has hit it's ultimate low when it comes to customer satisfaction.. WHICH EXPLAINED why it's capacity was less than 50% yesterday. ( And that there was a match on yesterday of India.. And all they were doing were playing 2005 hip-hop music =\ ) They've increased prices, dropped the quantity of food by 10% (AND CHARGE MORE FOR IT !!) . To cover up for that, they've made new and more elaborate menus so that people forget about it. But they forget about MY AWESOMENESS =D It's a very good marketing scheme but it'll pay shit in the long-term !

AND DID YOU KNOW !

A bottle of mineral water which the govt. increased from Rs. 10 to Rs. 12 due to ze recession, HALDICHORS charge Rs. 35 FOR IT !!

The truth behind all this is that bottle manufactures KNOW THAT it costs not even 8 for the entire production but they charge 12 for it. Fair enough. BUT 35 ! They purposely segregate these bottles and later on charge the money as per the restaurant and the demand. And according to the law, this is LEGAL as long as the MRP is printed on it. You may get the same bottle for 1/3 of the cost outside but in HALDICHORS, you pay 35 for it.

Like our country now guys ?? :)

10 Things You Don't Know About Meh :

(You're too lazy to figure out anyway :P)

1) I'm a half non-vegetarian. Which implies that although I eat non-veg (restricted to chicken & fish) but on any sunny day, I'll prefer Veg. over non-veg. And no, I have NEVER ordered a chicken bucket and eaten out of it.

2) I'm a bit of a miser, i.e, I don't spend money on something I know I can get cheaper elsewhere & I don't out of choice take any EXTRA money from Dad. (I have no clue why he gives me pocket money if he gives additional money either way =\ )

3) I also NEVER forget the prices of goods/things which I may use everyday or important things. For eg: when Dad & I are tallying stuff from the wholesales, every time he would say a price, I'd yell THIEVES ! and tell him the "old price" of it. You can say I still remember the price of a 500gm bottle of Jam =D (JAM FTW !!) It was Rs. 35 back in 200..3 ? And NOW.. It's 89 !!! =\ It's THE SAME BOTTLE WITH THE SAME INGREDIENTS !!!! WITCHES !

This is what recession does to companies =\

4) At this age, I have understood the generation gap and now respect my Dad's opinion of what he was telling me years ago :)

5) I have a fad of holding onto old things.

(Scratch that.. I remember I've already written that elsewhere)

5) I have a really good memory in all things except studies :P

6) I LOOOVE reading good/interesting books :)

7) (READ THIS ONE) Whenever .. WHENEVER I say "Uhmm.." , "Err.." , "Well....." (note the dots) I'm uncomfortable/trying to lie/not wanting to discuss something.

8) I have a trick of saying things by NOT saying them ;) ( I.e, usually whatever I type has a hidden meaning to it, which clearly, NOBODY has noticed till now :P :P )

9) Nobody has noticed till now coz I'm AWESOME !!! =D

10) I never leave my house without a watch, phone, pack of chewing gum and wallet. If I do, I'll feel annoyed during the whole time

Ahhem

Yes, I haven't updated for a while.. Well, EXCUSE MEH ! My brother comes ONLY FOR A MONTH & ONCE A YEAR ! Plus since my exams finished before him coming, it's all good =D Seriously, I've had so much fun with him and didn't realize how much I used to miss him :) Typical brother.. Whenever it would happen that I would be out and he would open the door.... he wouldn't exactly "open the door" ! He's open it a crack, look out ... and then close it again ! He KNOWS it's me !! He's aware of that !! BUT NO ! He'll do that 2-3 times or when my banging on the door would be a bit too loud ! Then Mom would come and open the door AND FINALLY LET ME IN BECAUSE I HAD TO TAKE A FRIKKIN' PISS !!! =\ =\

He also brought that GTA IV DVD I had been DYING to have ! :D Unfortunately, since our XBOX 360 is original (Wow, those are 2 words u don't expect to see in a sentence together !!) we use a frikkin' converter for it to be compatible for Indian houses. It's a "Voltage Converter" to be precise and it heats up like yo momma in only an hour !! (that's original ! :P ) Which leads to the crashing of the XBOX and me running to disconnect the 2 wires. It's VERY annoying so I rather play L4D2..

Unfortunately, Mom would somehow find ANY EXCUSE to NOT let me get out of the house ! Some of them being a bit bizzare but I finally went today. 4:30 to 7:30 were some 3 sweet hours of gaming :D I would say I'm being modest when I lead my team to VICTORIES (3 times !) (because I'm AWESOME !)

Anyway, it was a good day.

On other notes..

Apparently since bhai came after such a long time, he's obviously getting all the treatment, the attention, the works.. yaa know.. But since he's so great, he doesn't make it seem like that :) Unfortunately, that doesn't stop from me & Mum fighting like hell in a gel but it's kinda difficult to...

OMG, WHAT THE FRICK WAS I THINKING ?!?!?!?!

I had a very .. err .. what's that word.. INTERESTING conversation 1 .. no .. 2 ..? 2 days back.. Yes, it was with a girl. Hence, interesting :P

It was our college's Ms. Fresher (that's a big title to achieve !) So I had my doubts about her "character" earlier.. I mean, she was HOT in all the right places (hence the title), every guy you could imagine wanted to be fraaands with her. But she barely made her presence felt in college o_O It was odd.. So 2 days ago, she IM'ed me (Thank You MORONIC FB Chat !) and we were talking about the GDs.. So when she said she got suddenly nervous when everybody started looking at her when it was her turn to speak, I was like.. Soo what ?? That's nothing new /:) And then she gave me answer which answered my doubts..!! She said, "But how do you know ?? I never notice.." And then I was like .. SHE'S ONE OF THOSE GIRLS U READ ABOUT !!!! LOl What I mean is that she's pretty, hot in all the right places, get's attention from every guy in college AND SHE DOESN'T KNOW ABOUT IT !!! Now in the 21st century where the woman is kickin' arse, it was REALLY REALLY hard for me to believe that.. So I kept on prodding her with her info. and she kept grabbing it ! I FOR SURE thought she was fooling around and was looking for inside stuff she didn't know about !! So I told her everything.. Then obviously MADE SURE that she keep this to herself.. The last thing I wanted was gujjar problem for helping out !! But u know.. I feel good about it.. I helped an "innocent girl" and I ... guess I feel good about it :)

So anyway,

No seriously, we had a frikkin' 50 min. convo !! (Incoming for meh :D ) She was all like.. up on me that I don't call, don't sms, don't care for her !! I'm like, Screw u !! I'll get screwed over my bill ! Afterwards I explained the "Mobile Bill Theory" . Quite frankly, this is an inside job, i.e, something u don't discuss with anyone because it's "socially incorrect" (OH PLEASE !!) This lil theory applies to a lot of guys who have had their asses whooped over getting a large bill and this is the procedure they follow with both guys & gals !

(note this only works effectively for a postpaid connection.. Prepaid .. uhmm .. not so often)

Mobile Bill Theory :

Statement - One shall spend only on his boy/girlfriend and increase meetings to avoid outgoings.

Logic - The logic behind the theory is that a person(usually a guy) would like to "optimize" his mobile phone usage.. Which means that he will talk to more/spend money on his phone to the people who he cares for the most AT THE MOMENT. He cannot, by any means, tend to spend more than his prescribed limit otherwise he shall be screwed by the "stronger forces" (PARENTS !! :P ) So, he optimizes by spending more on his boy/girlfriend (if he has one) and parents rather than friends.

Application - Now I am a strong follower of this theory. I personally believe that spending ur mobile money on ur girlfriend rather than ur friends is AT THAT POINT IN TIME more .. erruhm .. useful ! As it is always believed that a boy/girlfriend elevates your status in society and gives u a good feeling ! True since we all know that the love which a boy/girlfriend can give USUALLY cannot be surpassed by what a friend can give.

Assumptions - There are a number of vital assumptions like any theory has -

1) The person must have a postpaid connection and the bill must come at home at the end of the period.

2) The bill is always read by the "stronger forces"

3) The relationship between the boyfriend and girlfriend is always perfect.

4) There are no crushes or ex-es in the person's life.

5) The amount of money to be spent has a definite value and

6) The person is AWESOME :D

Ahhem

Now might I add that he may not spend "mobile money" on his other friends while he's in a relationship but he must always spend time with them if not the money. Because we all have to keep them happy no matter what the frick in life ur doing ^^

BECAUSE FRIENDS ARE IMPORTANT !!!!!

And I learnt that the hard way =\

And if that guy still does that, he's a frikkin' DOUCHE who doesn't deserve your friendship !!!

So anyway, the next time someone tells you that he/she doesn't "have enough balance" to call/sms you, you can be VERY SURE that he/she is saving it up for someone else ;)
